I just finished the first rough draft of the new book. I don’t believe it either, so I’ll say it again: I just finished the first rough draft of the new book. It is only partially illustrated, and it still has to be reviewed by an editor…but the first draft is complete and I already purchased my own ISBN for print and ebook. I can’t believe this is finally coming together. Dare I say, I am in shock?
I don’t mean to sound so dramatic, it’s just that I dreamt this book up nearly a year ago, and throughout the process of bringing it to life I suffered some pretty agonizing setbacks. At one point, I thought I’d never be able to finish it! I’ll be talking about some of this in my next podcast, so be sure to tune in Friday, November 26. Suffice it to say, this book has been important to me in many ways. Hopefully, I will be able to share more details with you all soon. It’s killing me not to.
