There’s life in the old girl yet…

I feel alive. More alive than I have in a while. Many positive changes are in motion for your beloved Twisted Libra. I will divulge more detail soon. Just know I am happy and the creative spark is returning. I wrote a new poem tonight. I am getting the itch to publish my next book.Continue reading “There’s life in the old girl yet…”

On the mend…

Your beloved Twisted Libra has been maimed. Part of me is forever removed. My suffering has been long and painful. Okay, perhaps I am being just a tad dramatic. I had knee surgery. My ortho doc removed damaged cartilage and several bone spurs. Recovery has been painful, yes, but I seem to be progressing nicely.Continue reading “On the mend…”

A blog is a terrible thing to waste…

Hello, my lovelies. I apologize for the extended absence. Your adorable Twisted Libra has had quite a few matters requiring my attention as of late. However, I find myself free and full of thought on this dreary Saturday morning. I do tend to thrive in dreary weather. Of course, as I currently reside in theContinue reading “A blog is a terrible thing to waste…”

Picture this…

Welcome back to the cemetery, my lovelies! Your beloved Twisted Libra has been hard at work revamping my personal portrait gallery! It is no where near complete, but it is now back up and ready to be devoured by your eyes! Since leaving the Meta-verse for more civilized pastures, I have felt the creative sparkContinue reading “Picture this…”

Dracula!

Yesterday, I treated myself to a performance of Dracula by a local theater group. This may sound rather mundane; a trip to the theater is exquisite, but not necessarily newsworthy. Well, did I mention that this was an immersive production (my first!) with a revised locale of Virginia? This was no ordinary Dracula. Hang onContinue reading “Dracula!”

Hello, October!

The greatest month of all has finally arrived! Hello, my beautiful October! There are so many wonderful reasons to appreciate this month, least of all being Halloween! This is the one time during the year when my outside world matches my inside feelings. For 31 delicious days, everyone is a creepy, gothic freak! We allContinue reading “Hello, October!”

Bring me to life…

I feel the stirrings of creativity once again, my lovelies. Summer officially ends today, and if your beloved Twisted Libra was capable of performing back flips, I would do several. Bring on the cooler temps, the early sunsets, and the lack of insects. I am ready. Since taking on the new day job, I findContinue reading “Bring me to life…”

Once upon a midnight dreary…

Today was a good day, my lovelies! I took a little field trip outside the cemetery to the Edgar Allan Poe museum in Richmond! It was such an incredible place! As a writer of the macabre, I had to pay my respects to one of the masters. I took quite a few pictures, and possiblyContinue reading “Once upon a midnight dreary…”

Spending a quiet Sunday with Death…

I ventured outside my own cemetery this morning to a gorgeous, old cemetery nearby. As fortune would have it, I now live just a short drive from Hollywood Cemetery in Virginia. This place is unimaginably beautiful. I don’t even have proper words to describe what I saw today. This is by far my favorite cemeteryContinue reading “Spending a quiet Sunday with Death…”

New Year’s Exhumation…

Your beloved Twisted Libra is unearthing her little cemetery and heading to a new locale! The day job has provided an opportunity in Virginia, so I must bid a fond farewell to the spooktacular North Carolina. The funeral procession is making its way to the new cemetery location sometime in January. I am excited forContinue reading “New Year’s Exhumation…”
